CRACKER BARREL
We served up a playful social voice to introduce Fried Chicken to the menu, an item everyone thought Cracker Barrel already had. This social idea, #Chickenisms helped turn the corner and win the pitch for the agency. Moral of the story? When life gives you lemons, put them in your sweet tea and order the fried chicken. (And I’m a vegetarian.)
This ended up turning into a social contest where fans could to submit their own “chickenisms” for a chance to win a giant fried chicken wing pool float. Pretty much a pool time necessity. The contest was so popular it was shut down early, only after 48 hours—six weeks before the initial entry deadline. Check out the landing page for Chickenisms here!
